no but depending on the type of water heater you have you can have hot water and no power..

also depending on the furnace you can have the gas valve open and firing, just no blower motor to distribute the heat, then your high limit goes off, shuts gas valve.. so fail lol

Thermostat is mechanical. But now that you mention there is an electrical component to igniting the burner. Though I do not have fan forced heat.

these floor furnaces kick ass man. If you're really cold and they're on, you can straddle them and it just radiates heat over your goodies and body it's like AHHHH

i live in an all electric apt. hot water to the stove and the heat, all electric..........

my friend, and all his brothers have generators, and when it started to get cold, they jumped the circulatory pump on the furnace to the generator and had full heat.

me, i had jack! my best friend was a small am fm radio, my mag light, and the single burner set up i got from campmor. they had all sorts of camping stoves, but no propane lol i hit 2 home depots, saw a guy walk out with 2 bottles, i was like please be more, found the last 4 bottles, took them all.

and ill add this, i got stuck with no shower for 5 days. took one at my friends house, he has a 50 gallon water heater, i may have drained most of it in my 20 minute shower lol

Ain't nothin like a shower. I can't make it more than about about 24 hours without a shower. My house is old everything in it is gas. Hell I even have a gas line in the bathroom with a tiny gas heater lol. Sumbish puts out some heat though. Love a gas stove, wouldnt go back.

Man I dread goin to work tomorrow. I was originally fighting for the day off till the doc said she's improving so I thought well let me run home and work a little bit before that hussy has a come apart.

    boy was i wrong lol

it hardly rained, but lots of 60 to 80 mph wind here. it looked like a war zone, with transformers blowing up all over, 2 and 3 at a time in the distance, something very large also blew up, ( very close to me) it lit the sky up like a nuke went off, and also let out one creepy hum that lasted the entire time the white light was blasting up.

the lady on the other side of the building said that one transformer blew up right by her side of the building, then the wires dropped, shot around some, then the whole street was a blaze with fire, 10 feet high, and 100 feet long, she said she wasn't sure if she should have a stroke or a heart attack lol

did hear of 3 people being shot over line jumping for gas.

i personally kicked a car off line who cut in front of the car in front of me. girl trying to act all dumb, aint this the line for gas? no its way the fvck back there, now move on sister!

According to Facebook, Christmas happened. I must be friends with hippies. I don't remember ever seeing this much excitement. Lots of posts on gay marriage and pot. Kooky.

Do Canadians get this excited when they elect their Prime Moose?

    2003 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP

I feel like going to get this car. It's low mileage, Florida car. It's got to be rust free. Up here I'd pay that much for an 03 with higher miles and it would probably already be rusted.
