Last week we had major issues with a hydraulic pump start. We replaced one part thinking it fixed the issue, only to run production for 45 minutes and go back down again. We got a hydraulic specialist in and he cleaned the filters and said it was fixed. We brought our guys in on Saturday only to run for 45 minutes and go down again. Pulled the filters and cleaned them and it ran for 1 hour and went down.

Called the hydraulic guy and he brought a special filtering system in to clean the hydraulic fluid convinced that was the issue. We started running at 6:00 am and shut down at 9:00 am due to an electrical unit. Started back up at 9:30 am and was back down at 10:15 am due to the hydraulic pump issues.

After a lot of diagnostics we are almost positive its been the pump itself the whole time. This pump has a 4 week lead time. We dropped it off at a local hydraulic shop in hopes that they can rebuild it quicker, but we are down until we get one in house.

We normally produce 750 units a week. We produced a total of 330 last week and have made 56 this week. Orders are going to get later and later and the pressure will be on ME.

I've come to the conclusion that working my job is like playing Russian roulette with a fully loaded magazine.

Okay sooo today has not been my favorite.

Allow me to vent: First of all, I come home, and there are 3 vehicles blocking way of my street, so I can't even get to my damn house! I ask the man what the hell is going on and he tells me it's gonna be a while they're trying to move a car. So I speed off and make the block and go in from the other side. Fvckin idiots. That's the SECOND fvckin time some idiot ass hoodrat Memphian fvck has inconvenienced me and blocked way of the street so I can't get to my house.

As for the car, last night I was driving home, and it was instant, the power steering just stiffened up. So I drove it to work today and it is for sure stiff on the turns. Done lots of brainstorming today, and honestly it feels sorta like it did when my ABS light was on and turned magnasteer's power assist off. But maybe a touch worse.
Fluid is fine, pump is quiet, things seem normal. No leaks that I can tell. So wtf is goin on? I'm thinking it could be the power steering pump going out, and that it's weak. Or perhaps something is wrong with the rack like a burnt magnet or something.

Thoughts?

They didn't keep you from getting to your house if selecting an around the block got you there. Whiner!

So got some info on my buddys death. His girlfriend was geting verbal abused and he stood up to say something and the perosn stabbed him straight in the heart. They have someone in custody now. memorial services here in a couple weeks. Just hit home cause my Grandma is the one who told me, but really got me was when she told me it could be me since i dont let anyone talk down onmy girl. End of converstation was Jayke please come home and see me. sorry but sinced i moved gpf you are really the only ppl i talk to. im lame lol

Is it stiff both ways or just one way?

This officially ruined my day. Wow that sucks so badly. The world is going to such **** when a guy can't even stand up for his girl without getting shot or stabbed. But at least there are people who still stand up for their people, like the 4 guys that died protecting their girls in the Colorado Shooting @ The Batman Movie, definitely deserve alot of respect.

I'm sure he will be sorely missed and again, my deepest condolences. Anytime you need to rant, we got you.

Yes they did. I mean why is it my fault for whining? It is absolute unacceptable to block way of the road for more than a minute or two. That is just plain rude and disrespectful to other residents of the avenue.
