I am looking at a 2007 ford f150 Harley Davidson edition 57000 miles, it is a write off. Went to look at it today, snapped a few pics. The only problem is it wont start, cranks slow a couple times and clicks and thats it. I tried boosting it with my buddies jimmy, power is NOT the issue. Does anyone know what a truck like that would be worth and if it is a common problem.

If I didn't have to go across the border I would look at it, but I might be able to get a killer deal on it so maybe worth it.

I'd be willing to bet that the battery in that F150 is toast, hence why the Jimmy woundn't jump it. If it's too far gone no jump in the world will get that thing to start. Slap a fresh battery in it and see what you get.

And I'd say 26K or so on price. Below is a link that I used. And yes, I specified the Harley edition.

Well I know power is not the issue, its got a quad alternator setup on it for the stereo, puts out 800+ amps... But as for it being stolen that's what i'm wondering on a price to bid on it.

If it has been stolen I would imagine it has something to do with the anti theft system.

There aren't any signs of anyone breaking in. that's what gets me.

Well, if it turns slow then clicks, that is usually a battery issue, quad alternators or not. Stick a multimeter on the battery and see what it's at. Also check all battery cable connections and make sure they are clean and tight.

See this post for ideas maybe... Seems Ford had a run of bad batteries from the factory that would not hold a charge.
