experts at Top Gear estimate the Bugatti would run out of fuel in about 12 minutes at its top speed. Not that you'd want to keep going past 12 minutes, anyway -- Top Gear also says the Bugatti's specialty tires would begin to disintegrate after about 15 minutes.
    Huh.

First off: it's not the fastest street car. I hate it when people state car facts that aren't even true.

Secondly: 2 milli? I've seen people say they've spent anywhere from 1.1 to nearly 3 million on these cars. If they have a single price of 1.5-1.6 million then where's the other half a million going?

If I had money to spend like that on cars, it would be on some sexy classic's, that are truly worth something. Not a piece of orange plastic.

for every car built VW ( the owners of Bugatti) will lose 3-3.5 million dollars. Each Bugatti cost around 5 million to make and they sell for 1.5-3 million. Thats why only a certain amount where made.

Why even waste money like that? Stupid Germans. The only thing good they made was the Autobahn.

VW wanted to bring back the car from old, Bugatti's in the past were luxary cars and fast for there time, but after years of being silent, VW decided to bring them back with a BANG and show the super car world that they could make it in the business.

Bugatti Veyron - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

    7,993 cc (487.8 cu in)
    1,001 brake horsepower (746 kW; 1,015 PS)
    Super Sport:
    1,184 brake horsepower (883 kW; 1,200 PS)
Brake horsepower (bhp) is the measure of an engine's horsepower without the loss in power caused by the gearbox, alternator, differential, water pump, and other auxiliary components such as power steering pump, muffled exhaust system, etc.
I love how it DOESNT make 1000 HP, people just claim it does. Its like engines of old, claiming gross power.

It has been dynoed...and it barely made 900. It is all hype. Sure...it runs 10 flat at like 140 in the quarter stock...but I can damn near do that with less than 15K in a nice fox body. And the part about it running WOT it WOULD go through a tank of gas in less than 15 minutes and the tires at that speed literally do start to fall apart...the Super Sport went faster than the standard 16.4 Veyron which did 253...pretty sure the Super Sport went around 270.
