the heat sink... do you mean you pulled the wire going to that little black thing all the way up by the windshield? bet that was a pain lol. you can get to the fuse block through the little access panel by the glove box, if i remember right it's the one on the bottom closest to the door. you probably did a whole lot more than you had to, but the effect is the same. glad you're happy with it
NO NO NO he's referring to the Aluminum looking box with cooling fins inside the drivers side access panel behind the light switch's that has a plug plugged into it. It's the DRL Box or whatever you want to call it. You unplug from that box and you don't have DRLs any more.
all the posts i saw on how to do it. included pressing the ebrake one click down to turn it off. the other was making a switch to manualy turn them on or off. i havent seen any with the way i did it. so i figured id post it.
Some of u seriously take things waaaayyy to far...come on who cares if theres other posts does it REALLY bother u that much? leave him alone... its all toooo petty !
thankss lilbear!! like reallyy there gunna rag on me for doing it and posting about it? why did they even look at this thread if they already knew how or didnt care about it... but anyway if you only unplug the wire with the heat sink on it, that only turns off the DRLS not the automatic headlights for at nite.. if im wrong who cares.. if i did more then needed...who cares...its not your car..its mine..get over it! your not the one who did it..so stop complaining about it. this is my car to work and back thats all. my weekend car will destroy your "precious, unbeatable, best car in the world" grand prix. so why not take it to the track instead of talking **** on a forum....
Bandit, good thread, but just a word of warning, if you don't have a supercharged car on this site, like myself, youre gonna get sh*t on. Just a heads up.
if you saw my other comment..youll know that my grand prix is my car to work and back...i did mention my other car...
I was wondering if this was possible. Thanks
