    Uh no.

10 000 cars is that stupid list thats been going around forever....

    From Wiki:

Gran Turismo 5 is set to feature 20 total track locations, with 70 variations. Yamauchi has explained that he aims to achieve the 1000-car milestone but actual details on the number of cars in the game is still unclear, with the number ranging between 950 and 1000
Gran Turismo 5 - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Wiki source: Gran Turismo 5 Game Features Announced

All of which is in line with what we've heard thus far.

limited selection of cars will have interiors, 1000 cars is a rough estimate.

The also said they'd try and reach this 1000 mile-marker by DLC. Meaning the game could technically release with 5 cars and require you to buy the rest as they release them. Of course there will probably be anywhere from 4-700 cars at release.

GT5 isn't out yet. It's going to be a Sim racing game, so my guess is, extensive modifying of all aspects of a vehicle.

Speaking of, Forza 4 better kick some serious ass. Forza 3 still disappoints me in many aspects.

Though, my plan thus far was to wait until GT5 came out, then pony up for it and a PS3, since I don't own one...

GT5 blows...why? No engine swaps...body panels swaps, clutch on the controller option, and DAMAGE. It still fails in my book even if it has a million cars.

Well the release date was just announced at E3 apparently. I didn't give a big enough sh*t to even consider watching Sony's segment of it.

November 2nd is the release date. As far as my original post I did not mean to post that is was the complete list after I made the post I continued to read and realized that the list is most likely a fake but I would not mind for it to be a nice starter list lots of good vehicles on it.

Matt you gotta calm down lol its really not a huge deal i promise just a game

Oh and Nintendo should just give up they are the next company to go under. The 360 is only gonna stay afloat cause of the ****ty Windows OS that every company buys to put on there computers. Sony is by far the best of the best and they continue to get better they could make the ****ty game ever made and it would still be better than the 360 and the Wii

I smell fanboy-ism. Actually, as far as E3 goes, Nintendo dominated and impressed everyone, leaving the other two in the dust. Sony was completely pathetic, and Microsoft was average.

Microsoft stays alive for many more reasons than you think. And trust me, as far as what games they have on their consoles, each company has its gems. And for the most part, Microsoft tends to outsell Sony in most their games, but with the previous generation, the Playstation 2 was more popular than the Xbox.

Don't start fanboy-ism here, especially without any facts what-so-ever to back it up.

So everything is opinion based I feel that Nintendo's show was pathetic and Microsoft was no where near average they had the worst show at e3 in my opinion Sony stole the show.

The Wii's graphic reverted back to the N64's graphics. The Wii is basic and is good for children. The 360 has 1 good game Gears of War 3. Now look at Sony you got Twisted Metal, Gran Turismo 5, plus the Playstation Move looks freaking amazing and they released a price $99 dollars for everything so bye bye to the Wii the only non High Definition system out.

Oh and far as me being a fanboy w/e bull. I owned a regular xbox way before I bought a PS2 and I loved my xbox but then the PS3 came out and I bought that because I enjoyed the PS2 cause of the better games and it being the better system. Plus the bluray features and all of its capabilities. I also own a xbox 360 and the only game I have is Gears of War 2 the Halo series is overrated now I enjoyed the First and Second Halo but it's just the same old over and over again.

So there are my 2 cents whether you like it or not this is my opinion and is based only on my opinion. I am not a super gamer or anything like that.

Now as far as Gran Turismo 5 I rented the Prologue to see how the game is and it is an amazing driving game and I can guarantee that when the real game is released it will be an amazing game from the driving aspect all the way down to the customization.

Thank you bio for that. I don't agree that they blow though. What would be cool is to have a free roam aspect in the games though but that would probably take away from the simulation.

i meant more simulation as in it mocks reality. you have cars that plow through corners and you need to actually slow down into really sharp corners. however misleading it is, id rather be able to take sharp corners at blindingly fast speeds, use slow motion, etc. i need games with a little bit of playability. i left GT2, GT3, and GRID because i got bored.
