Hey i just got a Grand Prix GTP, and i wondering how to get the best gas mileage, i tried driving like an old lady and the best i can get is 25 highway and my trips are usually about 10 miles. How much throttle is too much.

thats sh!tty gas mileage... im assuming its stock?plugs, wires, open up the exhaust, get a intake, and a good tune and u should be in good shape. hell i stay into the boost alot and have 20 inch rims and still get 27-30 mpg on highway when i drive conservative. i get 22mpgs all around city and highway average after a full tank of gas to empty.

I'm just talking about how to drive, i know a tune up and some exhaust would help, but I'll work on that later. How much boost should i use while accelerating, i tried not touching it at all and that didn't work. I reset the computer while driving and i got up to 37 before i got into the city.

From Reptile's Article, What is octane, KR? Explained here. :

Acetone is miscible with water as well and will likely produce undesirable effects, aside from decreasing gas mileage. Been a while since I've seen an engine fire.

I rarely use any boost when accelerating on the highway, and I have no problems. I get between 28-30 MPG according to the DIC depending on the day.

I reset the DIC on the express way and it was staying at 26-27 and on the highway it was 30-31 but any acceleration really hurts it, and resetting while stopped and then driving shows 24-25. how much does a u-bend delete help?

if you want to feel good about you gas mileage, go 70, reset it, and then let off the gas and coast. it says you get 99.9 mpg around the 70's. it doesnt actually do anything, but just boosts your confidence
