I'm with Brian too. ZZP probably sends out a lot of stuff each day.

    1. My first order I got 14 valve seals and figured they sent a couple extra just like Intense gives you a spare bolt for the MPS.
    2. My second order of valve seals they sent me 11. Sweet deal because I got 14 last time.
    3. A buddy had a charger at my place and ordered an MPS. It showed with 4 screws and 5 holes in it's heat sealed bag
    4. A buddy ordered a TAC and they didn't ship it because they felt he didn't want it.
    5. I ordered a full engine gasket set for an MP112 setup I was putting together. The "GM LIM's" didn't fit properly. I checked them on two different blocks and compared them to LIM's I picked up at GM. Not the same. VC gaskets had to be stretched to fit in the VC and were trying to roll up due to how tight they were in the channel, most likely they are leaking. Garlock SC gaskets are cut larger than the sealing area, they automatically leak. I made gaskets myself for this.

Overall ZZP is great if you enjoy spending extra time waiting for the right parts, not getting what you expect and laughing about the fact that they can't seem to count past four.

Do they sent out a lot of stuff each day? We assume they do, from the number of stories I hear vs parts we see being ordered, their percent of issues is probably close to 50%. If they got their heads out of the sand long enough to provide some good customer service, train the shipping guys to ship what is ordered and QC some of their products, they would be a great vendor that would get a ton more business from myself and tons of others.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

Who wakes up in the morning and says.... wow I really want to change those heads today for some other stock heads. If your going to say because of the compression then all of the turbo guys running L26 stuff must be crazy.

When I did the math on the SSM90 versus a regular top swap, I thought it was like $800-$1000 more to go with the SSM90 setup?

Didn't really read this whole thread, but after owning other car platforms and very little aftermarket vendors with them, I'm glad ZZP is still in business. As selfish as it seems, the better business they do, the more **** they will roll out with and develop for this platform. There are a few of them there ar zzp that have pushed the limits of the 3800 multiple times and develop great products. When's the last time someone ragged on some of their parts in the for sale section of forums? Everybody wants their **** used and will pay top dollar for it, buying new from them seems to come with a few problems sometimes.

Zoomer doesn't get a his points across on these forums very well sometimes, but his business has developed some great **** for w-body's.

just to put this thread to rest: everytime i ordered something from ZZP, whether packaged like a 4 year old with downs or not, i always got all the parts i ordered and got it very quickly (usually within a day or two max). mistakes happen, but that's all we seem to hear about.

im closing this for lack of sympathy for one of our best vendors out there. yes, there are other places, but you can't beat ZZP for what they offer and their pricing.
