Who believes this is the end or who believes this will be the actual extraterrestrials showing themselves? Who thinks this is going to be another big nothing? I'll place my thoughts after awhile just want some opinions.

Haha, this thread made me LOL. It will be interesting to see everyone's thoughts.
Not sure about 2012 but we are heading to the end IMO and were headed there fast.
Without getting all political, at the rate we're going we are heading for a one world government and well when that happens its just a matter of time.....
its suposed to be a bad year for hurricanes and such and the earth quakes have been off the hook
but in the end it doesnt matter just like the new millenium and all that nothing will happen
fail

Jesus there skippy, loosen up the sideways tampon
I say the guy who made the calendar this long stopped at 2012 after he realized he needed to get laid.
The myan calander is e.t. design. E.t.'s already show themselves, have you not seen the cropcircles that have been poping up over the last 20 years? Some of which show the myan calander, to say the least.
Nah, just the computers were going to stop working. I was working as a tech at the time. And unfortunately, nothing happened. I was so disappointed.
You know, I did watch a interesting show on Discovery. It was about a Mayan statue on a random island off the cost of Brazil.....The only thing is the Mayan's were never known to cross into south america (the only stayed in the mexico area) And well, when you sit on top of this monument you can watch the Transit of Venus (watch it cross the sun) And apparently this is the only spot on earth you can view it, and this happens once every ......some ridiculous number of years. That really got me thinking, You also have to take into account on some measurements/predictions the mayan were more accurate than our scientists today.
Edit: Sorry forgot to mention, the day you can watch the transit of venus is on the date the world is supposed to end (according to the calendar)
