Left last Thursday morning around 4:30 a.m. and headed out to one of the largest Land Rover meets in the U.S.
Even had a guy from Argentina that gets paid to drive around the world show up in his four door Land Rover Defender with kevlar armored doors and bullet proof windows. Was pretty cool to see since they're illegal in the United States becuase of the diesel motor.
Needless to say it was pretty damn cool getting to talk to him and have the opportunity to drive my Land Rover in a group with him and three other LR's that have also been around the world many times.
Also had a guy from a Land Rover school show up at the event and rode around with myself and my friend that had went with me. Teaching us the same things he teaches at the school, which he made sure to mention costs $200 an hour there. Luckily for me he also had his $15,000 version of a DHP computer for Land Rover's with him so I got the chance to have him hook that up on mine and make sure everything was in proper working order after the Rover had ingested a little water.
