Finnally installed headers. OBX headers to be exact.
Why I hate them.... They don't fit out of the box. I had to cut the crossover pipe and extend it by 2-3" and reweld it, had to bend the tranny dipstick tube back, cut the front flange that was blocking the water pump radiator hose snout, and dent the hell out of the floor so the collector flange wouldn't hit and rattle. That took me about 6 hours and a cold 30 rack.
Now let me tell you why I love them. Before installing them I was seeing upwards of 3 degrees of knock. Now no knock, I think once and only once I saw a reading of .2 degrees. They also sound very very vicious with the ported blower!!
Now I am working on bodywork and hopefully have her painted for my birthday, July 1st.
