I am looking to buy a new trans and was wondering what experience some of you may have had? Where would you recommend I buy my trans from? I was looking at either ZZP or Intense. Though I am still up for options. I'm looking for the best thing for my money. I dont want to end up spending 3k on a trans that people have had problems breaking output shafts or chains or w/e. Please post if you've had any good luck or bad luck with either.... on your trans. Or if you have any other suggestions. Thanks --Greg

Did anyone by any of the upgrades or are you running the stock high performance setup from TEP? Also what times are you running?

i have a tep, 3.29's dual chain, intense input shaft, gtp t/c. It chirps 2nd gear with the 3.6 mps on it.

dave is awesome, he will answer all questions and is honest. He talked me out of a 7/8th chain upgrade because my car is still a daily for now. My track time is total **** (14.2 @ 97 on 3.8 pulley) but i blame the tune. New time to come.

My trans is holding up for now but I probably will go with tep as well. But now that you all are mentioning gear ratios, have any of you seen a difference in gas mileage with the 3.29's vs 2.93? Better in the city, worse on the highway?

Really depends how you drive cruise on the free way no real diff but if you do 80 all the time your gonna lose a few mpg with all my mods and 3.29's i lost maybe 3 mpg
