Yes it was a short stay for me but its time to move on. I decided the money I would be putting into my GP is not worth the hp gains. I will be finishing my current mods like the headers and the ram air hood but that will be it. Time to look for a old muscle car to put my money into.

Can I ask you something? Do you enjoy the car? If yes, than that alone is a reason to keep it. Modding any car is going to be pricey, but if you enjoy owning the car than that's half the fun in doing it. There's far more appealing things I could own, something RWD, something with a stick, etc etc. It's not just how fast, but passion you know?

Oh I wont be getting rid of the car. It is fun to drive and I will be keeping the car as daily driver for the summer and I will possibly do some more visual modifications to the car, but as far as performance modification I just don't feel its worth sticking the money into it. I think I am going to look for a older trans am or something of that sort.

This is very true nawarkk and it is what I have always told myself whenever I considered getting rid of the GP but talking with a buddy at work about modding my car and what not just makes me feel its not worth it no more. I do love the GP and I do love driving I wont ever get rid of it but I definitely want RWD and a v8 and...

    I just fell in love:

That T/A is sexy man. I am selling my GP and leaving the wrong wheel drive scene. I will always have a place in my heart for Grand Prix's and their relatives. They are a... They.. The community around them is unreal. I have been on several car/truck forums and non compare to this site, the chat needs to come back though.. I am sure no one has noticed but I almost never most in the actual GP forum area. I will still pop in the lounge because I like "most" of the people on here.

    My plans are as follows..
    Sell the GP
Buy a beater truck till I leave for the Army/Navy
At some point (during/after) buy a truck or SUV that I want
Buy a T/A with my enlistment bonus
    Be happy

If your leaving becase you don't do performance mods I should have left a long time ago!

I'm only interested in visual mods. That's what I'm here for.

Yeah, "older" is second half of the second gen and third gen.

I see the GP as a great all year round car. Lets be honest here, it doesnt do winter as good as it could and same with the summer.
