Pretty impressive. Just goes to show, you can do anything if you put your mind to it.

I sure dont want to be the one doing any type of maintenance or repair on it. But then again, if you can shove a LS1 into a Honda, then I guess thats probably a mute issue.

Years ago I seen a Nash Metropolitan with a 502 and huge drag slicks. The rear was tubbed to fit the tires with in the car so from the side it looked somewhat normal but from the rear there was only a few inches between the tires.

    He oughta be shot.

I guess the fenders and hood were weighing the car down. I bet it gained 50 horses without all that extra weight. Where's the wing?

His names Travis chaney and the car is sold now and went for 30k.
newbie...with a ls1....but not in your typical car - LS1TECH that is the build up page.

He is a pretty cool guy, and has been on a couple of tv shows including the newer show on speed network "Pass Time" driving a lotus ultima gtr the other week actually.

He is starting on a new project now, an s2000 with an ls1 in it.
    -steven-

also why should he be shot? because he made a car that in everyones eyes was not worthy of making fast and made it that way, in the same way that people percieve our cars and what we do to them?

Just goes to show that anything can be made better by adding a LS1. I'd rock it just for the expression on other Honda driver's faces after they rev on you.

Lotus Ultima GTR? I know what a Lotus is, and I know what an Ultima GTR is.

I am sorry I meant to leave the lotus off, had lotus on the brain as I had to look up what the heck he was driving on the net and the website I found it on did a comparison of a lotus exige (sp?), mosler mt900 gtr, and an ultima gtr; kind of a good, better, best comparison, forgot which mag it was tho.

Don't get your panties in a twist Steven. I was just poking fun. $30k for a car that ugly? My $ got me the whole package. Even the hood!
I'm sure it was ALOT of work. It's just crazy. Everyone has an opinion. I'm sure the guy is a really nice person. It's not like I would really shoot him.
No a Honda is not worthy, but, a LS1 can make anything faster.
    I would've found a "prettier" sleeper. A GP perhaps?!

Makes me want to strip my car down, convert it to RWD, and put a 4.6 supercharged motor in it.

In the picture the car isn't finished. It took a lot of custom body work.

He is in Memphis and while I still lived there I met him during this project. A real nice guy and extremely knowledgeable. It was a very interesting toy project that went really far. Saying he should be shot is a bit of stretch.
