    How much worse is the GTP on fuel vs an N/A GT?

    Well I have owned both.. GT was somewhere between 24 to 26 on the highway and GTP I have been around 22 - 24 on the highway... Others have gotten better than what I have.. Let them chime in...

    I got 25mpg all day doing mix driving when mine was N/A. then topswap with big cam and get 27mpg all day as long as im easy on the boost lol
    All you need to know is High compression big a$$ Cam plus blower

    I get 18 city, 29 highway in my gtp.
    3.4 pulley, 3" catless dp (ubend deleted), 3" exhaust split to 2.5 dynomax mufflers (no res), zzp plog, 4" spectre intake, alt rewire, under/overdrive pulleys, intense pcm, 3/4" zzp tb spacer, al 104's, 180* stat, msd coils/8.5mm wires, heatwrapped crossover, flipped db's, optima red top, sunpro st boost gauge: boosting 11lbs.

    Get a good tune and a gtp will 29-low 30.

    Im not really interested in modding it at the moment, just keeping it stock

    maybe someday a smaller blower pulley but not anytime soon, thats if I even end up buying a GTP

    Can do just a pulley on these cars. You will blow it up it you do.

    +1 on the mileage, about 29 or so highway, lower 20's in the city, like 22ish, Not much different then a GT if you can keep your foot light. But much nicer to have a little boost if need be! And the GTP gearing helps your mpg a lot

    I have had 18-22 in a NA GT, and I have gotten 22-24city in a GTP, and over 32mpg in the GTP.

    ^^I saw 33 once in my XP'ed, headers, 3.1" setup...its all in the tune. You can get a GTP and have it tuned bone stock and probably pull over 30 mpg's. Even if you do DD it...get rid of the U-Bend...it is HORRIBLE.

    I check mine every tank. I get around 22-23 mix driving. Calculated by mileage on my trip meter and gallons put in according the pump. My cars computer isn't all that accurate. Not sure after the tune. Haven't ran a tank through it yet. I think the computer is saying 24.something. But the car has done some idling in the mornings.
    98 GTP - Autolite 104s, wires, 180* t-stat, fwi, catless dp and plog, glasspack res, Reptile tuned PCM, tinted tails.
    91 Toyota MR2 Turbo - 327RWHP 322RWTQ 11.48@122mph

    i reset my DIC every day on the way to work... on a 80 mile round trip with very little stop and go driving i have gotten between 29-32 mpg.. in my GTP

    I get about the same as most guys, 18-18.5 city, 26-30 highway. Guess it depends on the wind gust and direction lol [Regal Gs - Supercharged]
