    And you're being a dick.

The guy came to a grand prix forum, to talk about buying a grand prix, and you're suggesting a foreign vehicle.

Do you not realize that most people who buy GM either buy it because they can't afford anything else or they believe in a little patriotism?

Steel you have been warned. I am going to ask you to stop as it is obvious you are upsetting a number of people here. Though you might have been trying to point someone to another car, which is fine, MAYBE there are some of us who appreciate our Grand Prixs and frankly DONT CARE that they are no longer made. And in your suggestion there is a reason why..........Yes there is. But it NOT because the cars were flawed, but GM never really gave Pontiac the means to really seperate itself from the rest of the GM line.

    Plain and simple.

So I am going to ask nicely once, please stop any posts that are going keep inciting the people in this thread.

    Thank you!

Read this thread from the start and tell me where it went wrong. It's simple. I made very calm suggestions on other options without once degrading a GP. He's the one that took it to the next level each time.

As expected the community bands together for one of its own. I don't see a problem with that.

Now if you want to compare me to some retard that told you guys your modifications would get your cars confiscated by the Government, I have to laugh.

There is no need to apologize. I know how I write and perhaps it's interpreted in a way I don't believe it should be. Interpretation is not up to me.

Ok I think this up for review here.........let me recount your quotes and maybe you can tell me if I am misunderstanding your own written words here?

The GP up to maybe the last few Maximas would lay waste to them. The GP was not made to fancy wood inlay dash kinda car. It was meant to driven hard and beaten up, and some of us actually like to pretty them up and make them look pretty dang good too

I admit I would love a Gensis, but I perfer to continue to buy cars based out of America. I can not sit here and say with a straight face that American cars are truly American for the simple fact that tons of the parts come from other parts of the world besides the US, but the company itself started in America and has been a long part of the heritage of this great country

Here is where you start to insinuate things. The ONLY reason why they are NOT being built anymore is because GM screwed up their fiances and had a bad business model. And they never gave Pontiac the chance to truly seperate itself from the standard GM cookie cutter cars, IE the G6, G5, the Solcist* GM refused to let them break away from that model. Making them almost identical to Chevy's version of the same cars, only thing Pontiac could do was give them a make over to make them appear different from Chevy's lineup. The Pontiac G8 would have been a HUGE hit had the company not folded up when it did.

So basically you are laughing at everyone on this Forum for owning a GP cause they are sooooooooooo outdated and old? And YES except for the Gensis and the two coupe version, their cars are laughable in regards to performance. The only benefit to them is that they might be newer, but a lot people change out parts so much that they're basically new on the inside, maybe not the outside as much, but I think you get the point here

I get that you were not telling him to buy another car, merely suggesting other options. I get that. But what you except from a PONTIAC GRAND PRIX forum suggesting someone to buy a Hundied (meant incorrect spelling) or a Nissan? That would be like one of us going over to their own foreign car website and telling the they should by a Pontiac, wouldn't you except the same reactions like you have seen here?

He wasnt putting words in your mouth other responding back to what you were telling him. And then you have to bash him for "reading comprehension?" mmmmmm I am thinking that screams foul ball to me

I really got a chuckle out of this one. Sorry not everyone is like you in spelling. Sure I hate getting words wrong, but it happens to everyone. I am sure you have gotten a few wrong in your life? And the "spam" he was referring to was your consistant posting and badgering of him and his choice/decision on the kind of car he wants. And then to top it all off, you called him an idiot. And you didnt except him to offened???

Here is where you really jump the shark. Calling him a retard and then the whole mentally challenged stuff. YES you DID trash the GP, read above posts to the hint to this............SURE you didnt say to not get an 11 year old car, but your VERY WORDS say the exact opposite. You have to make sure EVERYONE knows our cars are OLD. You had to impress upon everyone your knowledge of how old our cars and made sure we knew it to think..............HEY! He is right! Let's all trade our cars in now cause they are 11 years OLD. I guess you tell the 69 Chevy collector his car is old too huh??? Funny I dont see any 11 year old Maximas or Hundieds (they werent even around back then) looking as good as our Grand Prixs still do after 11 years.

Once again you had to just take another dig on the GPs and their age. Oh wait..........you weren't saying anything bad about them..........My bad

    And lastly.......................

Back pedalling much here? Of course a community that is devoted to Grand Prixs is going to stick together. Yes I am an Admin but I have try and be impartial as humanly possible, but when you said the things I have quoted above? How can you say you were not putting down the GP given all your insinuations about them? ie the Age, the "charity" case stuff.......

WOW Ok I am to bored to write all this stuff

But I think I have made my point

I know, but I always love trying to point out people's flaws when they think they are flawless. I don't do it all the time obviously, but this was one of those SPECIAL cases where I just had to do it Usually I do it in PMs only to the person in question, but seeing how he is trying to defend himself like he was the wounded party.............I had to set the record straight

Until I give up? What........... you mean banning him?
