Salvage titles are issued if damage totals anywhere between 70% and 80% of the value of the car. That car had to have some serious damage to get a salvage title. Just saying.
if this thread were a competition. that would win.
I would go and look at it, probably offer $1200-1500 cash due to mileage and the busted radiator. The Daytona's are getting harder to find and that blue is amazing. Go over the http://www.grandprixforums.net/97-03...ems-60802.html and just point out things that are wrong and get em down to a price you feel comfortable with.
I'm gonna go probably tomorrow and see it he also posted it on the barter and I ask him what gee looking to trade but he said anything that its worth the same I keep you guys posted if I get a good deal on it
^ This too. I mean... realistically.
"Its a Grand Prix, I'll give you $1,200, cash... right now"
"Naw man, its a Daytona, rare car."
"So, like $1,250? $1,300? I mean I'm not paying that much for a 250,000 mile Grand Prix. Its just a Grand Prix with a busted radiator!"
"But it's only got 216,000 miles on it. Not 250k."
"But its still a Grand Prix."
^This... until you buy the car at a lower amount and get to do your Happy Dance of Victory, its just a regular GP that's broken.
