Hmm lemme just say something a wise man once told me..

"Owning a 9 second neon is like coming out of the closet, at first you surprise everyone but in the end your still gay."
"This shocker crap is for high school kids, it's all about the double gauntlets, that's right, 2 fists forearm deep, someone make me a sticker. double gauntlets > shocker"

apparently 2002 was a bad year for nissan. My wife tells me that it has used 5quarts of oil in the past 3 days...I told her to get her dam money back ASAP...My bro-in-law had a altima and had THE SAME issues with it burning oil and the cat-coverter going out...

so we will be ditching this thing before its too late ( Read Below )

Try to stay away from the used SRT-4's, buy one and try to sell it later (let's not forget Insureance rates for them). If you choose that route, do the start up test.... look for the white smoke. I cant imagine one of them that hasnt been abused by the PO, dont think there is even one that hasnt.

Cobalts are nice... but there seems to be alot of lemons in them... just be careful all used performance cars are pretty hard to buy nowadays. I bought a '04 ZO6 in the spring of '08, took it to the shop for pre-inspection and it was the only one of 6 that passed. Which was good cause it was the cheapest (he was getting a divorce and was very desprete to sell... I had cash... car has 24K... still does cause it hasnt left the garage since.. I got it for a staggering 19.5K)

Pre-inspect... find a shop your comfortable with and use them, if the seller doesnt agree with this... dont buy.
