Well I went back outside and we maybe got another half an inch of snow. Nothing impressive. So Lee wins

The snow has stopped a little but the ice is really coming down it almost looks like rain. They are saying people should stay off the roads. Earlier a truck hit the bridge on interstate 69 right behind our house.

The news said Valley Park, which is about 4 miles from me got 11 inches of the wintery mix. Hillsboro about 45 minutes away got 14 inches

The wife and I got some pictures of Drew's GTP burried in the snow. After shovelling the driveway, I'm to tired to go to the lower level and pull the pictures off of the camera right now.

Oh I hear ya there Lee. When I shoveled my whole driveway I was whipped pretty good. The snow was super heavy on the bottom end cause it was melting due to the temps we had the past couple of days. And then additional 5-6 inches ontop of the slush really made it fun

This kind of weather makes me want to find a 6 month job on a cruise line during the winter and then work for 6 months here during the summer

The older I get the more I understand why the blue hairs move to Florida for retirement.

While I can appreciate that. There is just no way I would live in FL. Hanging down at Miami's International Airport and the Days off the Airport made me realize I am safer in St. Louis

    Plus my Spanish sucks

There are a couple of places in Flordia I would go, first is Disney World with kids, and Key West for me and Dave. Right now it's 76 there, I wish I was there and get away from this ice and snow!!!

You trumped James' snow amount It was near 50* today so a lot has melted already.

I was watching KSDK channel 5 news and it said we have gotten 30 inches since the new year started so far.

At least it almost got to 45 degrees today and melted a good bit of snow.
