Lets keep this thread on topic and down to the point. Many people got screwed out of some money and I for one don't want to have to refer to a 20 page thread full of crap to get news or updates from. This also has been referred to the authorities and im sure they don't have time for crap either.
my bad, with both threads being labeled the same and most people posting in both i guess i lost track of which one i was in.
Seeing that no one has received items yet, nor were we supplied tracking info, even though we supplied addresses, has me wondering; What reason could he possibly have for breaking his month long silence and wanting our addresses...sending a subpoena to us, filing a civil suit for defamation against us, sending anthrax....
Seriously, these things have been going around in my mind- like waiting for the other shoe to drop. I see he has not logged back on since 10-4 at 2:07.
Thoughts????
I think you are getting a little too worried here. As I said earlier, I think the only thing that caused him to reappear is that he has been following along on our threads and finally saw that criminal action wasn't just talked about, but that it was being pursued and with the response of Sgt Harlowe he would know that there was obviously some merit to the case against him. He only showed up in hopes that he could clear himself by sending off some stuff and try and diffuse the criminal case. I think he has come to realize the futility of it now since daily more and more people are filing IC3 forms and talking to Sgt. Harlowe. He is probably now worrying about how to handle the police. If you end up getting anything I wouldn't open it and talk to the Sgt first. I don't think he is going to send anthrax, but it may just be junk, it may even be what you originally asked for. I'd clear everything through Sgt Harlowe at this point though before making any decisions or contact with TDC so that he can build the strongest case possible.
Really, along the lines of this is probably what he was trying to do:
Even if he turns around and refunds ever person. He still will have charges brought against him. I have seen it with my own eyes before. He has jail time coming. Only varable in this is how much time he is going to serve.
those who have contacted Sgt Harlowe/filed IC3, please pm me jsut saying that you did so i can unpdate the list and PM everyone who hasnt been in contact w/ him...
Has anyone been in contact with the Sgt? I sent him an e-mail on Sunday. I put in a read receipt and he read it on Monday. Still has yet to e-mail me back.
I imagine he is a busy guy. If you get anxious for some response it might be a good idea to try calling him instead. I'll probably do that in a few days if we don't hear anything just to get an update on where the case is at this point. It is unlikely, but he could have already picked him up for all we know.
Okay will do. Thanks guys for chiming in. I'll plan to call SGT. on Monday. Give him a week then I'll call to see whats the status of everything.
Max
Just an FYI to everyone-
I was e-mailed by Sgt. Harlowe today to confirm what I bought and how much I paid. I advised him about the personal messages we all got about shipping our items, and the fact that, to date, no one has received anything.
He is putting together a strong case against him- and tho we may never be compensated- at least we will know he got what he had coming...
Haven't been on for a few days, got a PM from TDCRacing:

Refund/Product
Visa and Paypal have contacted me about the fraud complaint that you have filed with them. Unfortunatly I have been instructed by them not to send the product out untill the investigation has been finished. Either way you will be receiving your product that you paid for several weeks go or a refund through Visa."
I haven't contacted the Sgt yet but now I am confused about what to do.
I agree, 4-5 people getting scammed isn't a huge deal as far as the police dept is concerned. 10 or more is a different story. Speak up, even if you just give the Sgt a call or an email to ask advice on what to do. As long as you touch base of some sort you are much more likely to get justice, a product or a refund.
emailed the sgt as well!!!!
