My son works for the local council regenerating wildlife corridors and found this Kingbrown snake that took on something and lost and it hasnt been run over ,These snakes are lighting fast and deadly and can move up to 50km an hour unfortunatly Australia has 3 quarters of the worlds most deadliest snakes ,Lucky us

You mention it didn't get run over. Did it outrun the weed eater?
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

I love snakes. I have owned several in my life. They are highly misunderstood creatures that help us out on killing unwanted rodents.

This is a picture of a carpet python another forum member caught in his house, these would have to be one of my favourite snakes there are heaps of these guys around here often they make there home in your roof or shed and have been known to eat cats

Also my over favourite snake is the sea snake they are deadly but are very placid and like to follow people like a dog and check out what you doing while you are swiming or diving but I have only ever seen then on rare occasions

Has anyone got any pictures of a rattle snake or anything else ?
