I really like the lines of the new Camaro, but I think it might benefit from some smaller wheels/wheel openings, moving the wheel openings up some, thus lowering the car a few inches. And big ass 30" rims only hurt it's performance anyways. Which would you prefer?

Call me whatever you like, I dont care for Ford, but they have done things right there with the retro look Mustang, that as far as Im concerned is more representative of the older Mustang. Now, mind you I wouldnt own one, but they did do a good job in that respect.

That said I think GM horribly missed the boat in the retro look with the GTO and Camaro. My mom owned a GTO when I was growing up and I'll never forget that car (nor the rides she could take me on with that thing). Pontiac missed with just the one GTO. They should have stuck with the LS1, LS2 for the starter GTO and then come out with a supercharged/turbocharged platform and created a GTO Judge, simple as that and of course styled it closer to what the GTO was.

I read an article when Pontiac first considered bringing back the GTO in the late 80's and even THEN they were talking about putting it on a Grand Am platfor and even THEN I was a scream' blasphemy about that.

Now, they are bringing back the Camaro and it was my understanding that they wanted to create a retro look. Can anyone tell me how that is reflective at all of a retro Camaro? Personally I dont like it, but thats just my opinion.

That white Camaro is sadly ugly from that view.

I agree with you Syntectic that GM missed the boat when they tried to do a retro GTO especially since there wasn't anything retro about it. I'm hoping the white 'Maro was just a base car and not a up level car.

    after owning a few F-bodies.....

that is not a camaro. from the side it looks like a mustang. the new Challenger looks more like an old camaro than that thing does. I do like the motor though!!!

needless to say I will buy a 4th gen over that any day of the week.

    I agree with Scotty.
