Fairbanks, Alaska. I've seen so many GP's so far and there has to be at least one of them on here... I'm just looking for people to talk to about stuff because reasons. Also, if anyone has any preconceived notions about Alaska they would like dispelled or just questions or curiosity I'm perfectly happy to talk about it.

In case you can't tell...I'm really bored right now.

No. That was exaggeration on her part. But I can see mountains to the south that are about 300 miles away on a clear morning... That's nice to sit and drink coffee to.

I was stationed at Eielson from 07-09, so I feel your pain. I'm assuming based on the screen name and the fact that you're actually in Fairbanks that you're on Fort Waineright?

If you haven't already stumbled to the pink hut for oriental food, I highly recommend it. An Asian girl I dated took me there and I'll never forget that place. The octopus is pretty good there. I liked going antiquing in Fairbanks too. You can find some pretty cool old stuff. If you get bored one weekend, especially in the winter, head to the hot springs. They're like a natural hot tub, and it feels great.

The screen name is actually my gamertag, which includes my last name. It's easier to keep the same screen name across all of my internet-ing. And yes, I hear the phrase "WOW! Your name is perfect for this place!" at least once a day. The AHA is delicious, its orange now instead of pink, and Chena hot springs is definitely a must. Hopefully I'll be able to visit it this upcoming winter.

It's that or wait until the next day. Lol

The town is literally named North Pole, there's a huge Santa's Workshop, reindeer, A '32 Ford converted into a sleigh (looks pretty bad ass), and lots of candy cane light posts. It's very busy during Christmas, as expected lol
