So this popped up the other day on the local forum. $800 bucks. It runs/drives. Needs a few things and the paint is done but there's zero rust on the car. 115k miles. Never driven one but DAMN this thing is fun to drive. Just took my wife out to dinner and she hates it lol.

Should be a fun ride with this installed in it.

I actually just talked to him last night on FB. Gave me few pointers.

His car is a f'n beast. I think he's gone low 10's in it. It's stupid fast.

Interesting. So just take my engine : trans and put it into a that car and drop 2 seconds off my e/t? That's fantastic. Look forward to see what you turn up!

Yeah we'll see . If I can get the blue car to mid 12's as it sits now it would probably turn high 11's in the Fiero.

Right now I'm attempting to read up on what all I will need and see what the cost involved in doing the swap is. It's been an interesting weekend .

Looks like a fun project. I have wanted to put an l67 in a fiero for a while. Finances always stood in the way.

Honestly though. I can't get over the interior. The outside can be made to look amazing. But the inside , much like the grand national interior, drives me insane.
Flame away , I'm good with it lmao

    BUT...

if if you have success with this, I'm willing to try it as well.

I was hoping Rob would have reported back to RGS but I have heard nothing since he sold the regal.
I would like to hear / see / read how he made out

I don't think he posts anywhere anymore. I know he puts stuff on FB here and there (a LOT of pics of his swap/cage, etc.) but you're not on FB so...

I joined a 3800 Fiero swap page on FB and there's a decent amount of information there.

One guy can make the mounts for $400, another can make the engine harness (not sure on how much) and someone else can do the axles if I don't want to. Couple of other odds and ends and I'm "hoping" to be in this project around $1000 but you know how that always goes.

    Ahh I see

well I'm really excited to watch this come together.
I think the body style I like the most is the 88 GT? Looks similar to yours. Longer rear sail windows. Spoiler. Ground effects. And the black / grey paint scheme

This is an 87 GT. I can't remember the differences but the 84-85's were much boxier/different. Not sure in the 87-88 differences.

step 1 scotty approved black rattle bomb paint job.

should be even more fun once the 3800 is in it.

nice snag on the better body style fiero too.
How I treat my car: wreck, fix, repeat.
