I'm planning a scrap run this week and in my pile is the old cat from when I did headers. I think I found one place near me that will pay out for them, but I gotta call tomorrow to make sure. Just wondering what you guys did when you got rid of yours?

    Local scrap metal place.

Just beware that scrap metal market has tanked in years past, your metals are worth hardly anything anymore. I remember the days when I sold a cat or two for $100 bucks. I bet it's half that now for a stock original converter.

Yup scrapyard, $30-50 is about right. Scrap prices have gone down. Hopefully they still buy them where your located I know when I scrapped mine it was hard to find a place that would buy them since there was a huge theft ring going on involving them at the time.

Yeah those scrappers are ruthless sometimes. I had my garage open one day and I went in the house for a minute, when I came back out one of those ****box pickups with 10 ft of crap in the back was slowly creeping by looking in. He drove off pretty quickly once he saw me lol.
