idk i aint a fan of caned tuned just b.c they like 2 run lean.. and its a 78 z 28

Overkill can tune those. All other vendors can, too.
Better than a can tune? A custom tune. I'm aware of a few folks out in Mid/North Jersey that do custom tunes, but can't immediately recall anyone closer. I know Axcelerated Motorsports in Richboro uses HPTuners which tunes our cars - trustworthy, good folk.
idk y you are gunna put hedders on a n/a car its gunna hurt you more the help you... and if you wanna spend a **** ton of money on a dyno tune more power 2u but a have never herd of Axcelerated Motorsports and i have lived in bucks county my whole life.. all i know is my tuner is from north n/j he just reasently moved to the philly area and my car went low 13s wit my set up but each is our own just b.c a place has a big fancy name and big shop wit brand new tools dunt make them good but on the other hand the mite be the best ... who knows... the proof is in the tune
headers do help, just they dont do **** in the low end, top end is were it helps, alot of ppl that have N/A normally do SD headers or Pacesetters, i would love to find someone that tunes well to get the maximum power out of my car and remove/change the stupid ass 110 limiter, but i dont know anyone that does tunes which is also y i made this thread haha
Axcelerated has been the exclusive dyno for the Carlisle Fairgrounds car show series for years. And a custom tune is not a "**** ton of money;" they're quite reasonable. Though, for just intake and exhaust, you really can't go wrong with a canned tune.
but yea if any of u guys that are from philly or near it that knows someone that tunes very well lemme kno were, that be great
you can touch the dyno 4 under 250... then every time you go back its at least another 200 bucks at least... (when you make more changes) i am not saying that a dyno tune isent the best way 2 tune a car but 4 the small amount of work that he is getting done it just isent worth it...,now if he was doing a cam hedders top swap or a turbo then yea i wouldent think twice and any way you look at it a caned tune is the worst way of a tune because if you know any thing about tuneing... you will know every car is different and they dunt make it work perfict for your enviroment sry about the spelling lol...
