    Hello everyone. I am new to the site and need some input. My daughter has an 08 Pontiac Gran Prix. Her problem is she gets a "charging system failure" message followed by a "going into battery preservation mode" which kills the a/c, radio and various electrical functions. Has anyone had this problem and what is the cure. Thank you
