  1. lol no problem man. Glad I was able to help you out some even though I never got to get my dash apart yet.....
  2. They should all be the same IIRC
  3. You didn't cut all the way through your data wire did you or may connect to the wrong wire on the speedo? Its weird man I've never heard of this before and if you followed the diagrams that were posted it should have all worked for ya. Tuesday and Wednesday are my next days off work and I should have a chance to pull my dash apart and take pics of the wires. Sorry I haven't gotten back to ya but I've been super busy with work, my house and some other stuff going on in my life.

That's the only thing that I could think of. Other than that you could double check the connections. Have you posted in the main thread to see if anyone has had the same thing happen.

The only thing that I can think of is if the connection from the DIC to the OBD II connector is not functioning properly. That is where the data is read from. I would check that connection first.

Try driving it around for a few days and see if it changes. Also try resetting the mpg readout and also reset the setting for the gallons used. The wiring you used is fine.

You are going to have to pull out your HVAC controls out to see that brown wire. You will splice into that wire. The same goes for the other wire that goes to the HVAC.
  8. Did I make a mistake??? If I did my fault. You still need the vss wire attached to the back of the speedo and you are correct about the fuel level. Totally my fault. You should not have any unused purple/ white wires.
  9. I've got no problem with it. Are things coming along for it? Sorry I haven't gotten around to getting my dash apart yet. possibly next week sometime though because I've got to replace a burnt out light in the dic.
  10. been really sick man. If I get the chance I will possibly do it tomorrow if I'm not making up hours I missed from work.
