You can still get them with out an issue direct from VFN, just call them and place your order. I belive it was about a 2-3 week turn around time when I bought my because they make them as they are ordered. Money well spent with a nice chunk of weight savings as well.
hmmm. so you suppose i prolly wont be able to get one? when did you buy yours?
Depands on which hood you are looking at. You might be looking at the pin on Hood, which I'd stay away from inless you've got your car as a all out track car only. They dont hold up as well the "normal cowl" hood like I have. I belive I paid about 550 dollar's for mine and just picked it up from them once it was finshed to save on the crazy freight cost. No vendor's sell this hood any longer which is one of the reasons you don't see it hardly as much as one would think. I can think of about 5 car's that I've ever seen with it and lucky for me they are no where in my area so it keep's it more of a one off sort of thing. Fit and finsh of it was amazing!
a thank you. and wow its only 300 bucks. i wonder why they arent more popular?
The Hood on the Red Car came from a company based out of Chicago. They are called VFN Fiber Glass. They build about everything and anything fiberglass related. Just do a google search for them and the web site should pop right up for you. If you have any more questions feel free to ask.
