In the past few months ive been doing a lot of DIY (Do It Yourself) things with my GXP. Some very simple, some more complex...

Plasti-dipped my grilles and front lip:

Painted my coil packs red for a lil "bling":

Revised the intake a little, wrapped crossover pipe and installed Poly motor mounts:

Ported and polished my throttle body:

Ported my stock LS4 intake manifold..time consuming as H**L:

Painted and added a throttle body spacer so I can add spray later:

    Finished Product :

Then last but not least, I lowered the car 2 inches with the SSC lowering springs:

All in all I think it's coming along well. Just saving up money for more mods down the road.

Thanks. I got them from Intense racing, as ZZP will never get any of my business again. As far as vibration, no more than one would expect from a lowered V8 with poly mounts lol. Honestly its not bad at all.

Nice! I ordered Intense poly dog bone mounts last weekend should be arriving on wednesday. I can't wait to install them. Had ZZP bushings before and they rattled my teeth apart. Everyone says intense bushings are much more liveable. I can't wait to install them!

Good deal! Yeah, I wish I had got them as soon as I bought the car. Only reason I realized I needed them was when I first Dyno'd the car and one of the guys in the shop told me they were stretching out like rubber bands as I put the car under a load. Now since Ive done everything plus a Lew tune, im ready to see what it puts down.

You really didn't need to use a TB spacer to run spray, but it's looking good!

I may actually take it off and return it. Then, use that money to go get it dyno'd tomorrow. Lew told me many times to get rid of it lol.
