if your on a pc you can upload pc to site.
that thing must feel good with all that timing lol

at some point I stopped using a supercharger gasket and just rtv'd the supercharger to the lower intake manifold. it's a pain to get off, but i'm willing to bet it would seal better.
Weird, pics posted some time afterwards and they are not in order. Actually, I can see them on my phone but not my computer.
yeah she feels great. Definitely the best tune I've had on the car. I did a short pull after the car set for a bit, and the boost was higher. So maybe the belt conditioner had a little more stick to it. I'll have to try a cold start pull to test that theory.
If it's a boost leak I'll just wait till I go GenV. I'm close to pulling the trigger on that. I.might have screwed up the butterfly on the bypass when I was cleaning it. I feel like I remember it being a little tricky to get back on and aligned. Or maybe it's not closing all the way. Is that little stud that the bypass paddle thing rests on adjustable like a throttle idle?
See if this works. This was the cooler start first pull.
Wondering if plugs are an issue. I did take them from like .52 to .40. I see Paxton guys and other s/c setups with similar boost running as low as .20. A lot around .32-.35. Maybe I should be tighter since I'm on e85 and water/meth. That is a lot of stuff getting dumped in the cylinder. Or I'm way off....dunno. Easy to test. Have some different plugs I want to try anyways.
Can you have WOT misfires and not really feel it? Dunno.
you can have misfires at wot, but I think it would show a leaner air fuel mixture. I recommend trying a NGK BR7EF plug, they are popular among the LS guys for boost, and I used them on my GTP before I sold it. They worked very well, but you do need to open up the gap as they come gapped at like .025 or something like that. try around .040.
I actually grabbed a set awhile ago after you suggested them. I'm gonna try them out next. A long shot guess is my filter is dirty, doubt it's that bad though. I've tried 2 map sensors. I could always stick the stock 1bar back and pretend it doesn't have issues! I noticed several times that the boost jumps up right before or during the 2-3 shift. There's a clue there possibly.
Another clue. I did a cold pull, which i never do until engine temps are up, but for science... Was a short pull, but boost was real low. You think boost leak now? I usually think that things seal better when they warm up, but i guess it really could go either way. Besides, i did have a missing bolt on the s/c for awhile.
Plugs didn't make any difference. If anything it felt a little slower, but it's also hot and muggy out. I did find that i had 104's in, thought i had 103's. Must have replaced them and forgot.
Just one layout. It's not organized that great, never put time into it. Boost is the magenta one. The bottom white one I don't use, need to delete it.
Lol
Here's the photos. I have an old s/c here with the old gasket attached. There's not that much oil. This has to be the boost leak.
I think I know what happened with all the oil. So that little black plastic thing under the pcv valve, it's like a catch can of sorts I think. The pcv drips into it and the oil gets sucked back through the system. I remember trying to get it out when I was cleaning the s/c. It was stuck and I gave up. May have cracked it or poked a hole in the bottom. I'll check after work. I have a spare s/c so I can swap in a different one.
Nope. Same boost fluctuation after new gasket. But car feels great. Pulls strong. Idles good. No knock. High timing. Weird thing, it's now leaning out at WOT. My fuel was dialed in, now it slowly leans out to 12:1 from about 4k up to redline. Like I said though, feels strong. Maybe I did seal a little boost leak so now I need to add a little more fuel up top? I still have a little misfire on cyl 4 at idle, but it goes away with a little rpm. Maybe coil? color me stumped.
Right but don't vac leaks basically go away at wot? Everything looks good for me at idle, but gradually gets leaner as rpm climbs in boost.
no they need more fuel as the rpms go up.
the shop that did my ss tuned it with a huge vac leak. i read the tuned file and have my stock file so i could see how much was added to the maf. i thought it seemed like a lot. after i found this vac leak i took it back to be retuned and dont ya know he took a lot of fuel out of the maf.
