May have gotten lucky last night... was at the laundromat washing our king size comforter since it won't fit very well into our washer or dryer... decided to check on Jegs again to see if they had the Addco in stock since I called them a couple of weeks ago and they didn't have any. The guy that I talked to insisted that he had a 639 in stock and I would see it Wednesday if I ordered it last night. So I did... hoping that their computer is accurate and I have an Addco coming my way this week. If this holds true, then everything I ordered will trickle in between Monday and Thursday and I will be ready to go for a Saturday thrash.

Edit... Indeed I did get lucky... Addco bar from Jegs will be delivered this Wednesday after all. Got a tracking number email from them this morning...

Got a chance to work on the car for a little bit yesterday. Got the rear struts, rear hub bearings, rear endlinks and the Addco installed. Just ran out of daylight and had to take a 2 hour break to get my daughter to softball practice at 3:00. All that is left to install in the rear is the BMR trailing arms, the rear strut tower brace and the AC Delco lateral links. I think I am going to hold off on the lat links because I would like to try to find some poly bushings for them. I can't really afford the BMR lat links so I need to make do. Up front I need to pull the struts and slot the upper hole for camber adjustment and install the front strut tower brace. I may go with a different outer tie rod because I don't like the boot setup on what I have. After this is all done, I will get 4 new tires, 245/45-18, for my Mustang wheels and get it aligned.

I did take it for a ride last night and there was a very noticeable difference for the better. Didn't put it into hardly any curves because it was late and I was exhausted. However, I did turn on to the interstate and once I was sure the lane was clear, I hammered down and the car hit 90 pretty quickly and felt very controlled doing it. Guessing the Addco is contributing to better stability as are the new Moog quick struts. Can't wait to see a bigger difference with good control arms and strut tower braces.

Also should mention this... I complained previously about the Moog quick struts lifting the front of the car too much. The rears did not lift as much as the front did so I am pleasantly surprised at that. They need time to settle and then I will see where they are. I am guessing the front will need to come down and inch or two to give it a clean rake and not be over the top. Will make a decision on this when it is tire and alignment time.

BMR trailing arms are on... wasn't too bad on the installation. I ordered the Dorman trailing arm brackets too. They come with new control arm bolts and new bracket to body bolts as well. Passenger side gave me no issues at all. The rear knuckle bolt came out easily... the driver side was a pain in the ass. The bushing sleeve was welded to the bolt so I ended up soaking the bolt in a jar of PB blaster and some trans fluid. Pulled it out, heated it up and was able to smack the sleeve off the bolt. Tossed the new arms in, torqued them with the wheels on the ground, even though the service manual doesn't say to. Car handles even better. Tires and strut tower braces are next... will be a lot more fun to drive to work now.

Time for some long overdue pics. She needs some more work done, but I can live with it for now.

With the 2003 LE instrument cluster...

Going to get another trunk lid with a regular spoiler on it so I can easily install my 03 LE spoiler
