well this is just awesome I somehow fat fingered the part number and ordered 5/8 inch thread feet for the plate lol...
I have to cut out a bunch of brackets n stuff for the 442 this week so I should be able to do another test piece by Friday.

Sooooo.... one more step to never being done...
Like little metal puzzle kit !
haha! true enough
i was stalled by having to crank out a ton of parts for the 442's suspension.
yeah ive figured out a few things after 2 years at this yob, boy howdy was i lucky. i do want something thats easy and cheap to make and install.
its a set screw foot to the support bolt boss, a setscrew clamp at the case support (clamps between the side plate and base plate, you can see the recess), and a foot at the reverse pin boss.
id love to make it work without modifying the 4th acum but thats an easy compromise as they are swapable components.
the wear on the bftgt gears and the fact dave has suck a baller design fer yer setup makes this a no brainer. and if i come up with something dave likes it can only help the community...even 7/8ths chains should last longer if they arent loading one half of the chain as often.
the reality is that with all the time in this heap i dont wanna ever worry about the unobtainium chain and 2.93's lol
trans is together and it and the engine are in the car
Really like the unique taillights!
stockjunk3800enginebay.jpg
its more togethers
new 04 style PS cooler return hose setup and new HP hose as well as the new heater core hoses and heat wrap
new double adjustable heim tq link to set the correct CV height/angle and ditch the huge iron passenger side contraption.
new icm setup much more compact and easier to service the fuse box and belt drive area.
just some stock junk
and a liiiiiittle teensy weensey side project....
^that picture has me rolling lmao!
I believe the technical term is roflmao^
okay lemme try again
He looks frickin' sinister roflmao!
dunno, but i have 4 billet knuckles to make before it even becomes a roller
ok, well the "hillbilly" phantom grip lsd that i modified to fit the 3.05 FDR diff worked great, diff is in the trans, trans is programmed for the new 2.86 FDR
so we should be good to 200mph in 3rd with the TCC locked and with TG's 27.25" tires and gxp rims.
subframe and zzp LCA's modified for as much anti dive/rise as i can muster (without welding the subframe)
sway link design i had in mind looks like it'll work, but much like tommy's im gonna have to trim the edge of that damn giant solid steel swaybar to ensure plenty of clearance to the axle. ideally id want to cut the end off the bar and make a new end with a nice damn clevise so the links can be shorter. as it is it'll work but it could be better.
the aluminum knuckles have seen better days, one tie rod had spun inside the steering arm and did chew it up....i might "sell" hk the steel knuckles.
cause ****it, the swaybar and calipers are heavy as ****, might as well add some more.
i havent cut the head flanges yet but the new intake is under way... should help the power numbers up top with the much shorter/straighter ports.
dont mind the dual injector bung holes...those ports are for my SI/SII hybrid for the waGN
