You ain't gonna walk right for a week.
Oh no...that is what I whispered in your ear last night...or do you not remember, maybe the roofie kicked in too soon.
Must have.
When you do the LS6 IM, can you please do a comprehensive write-up? Maybe it's just me, but Nathan's wasn't that clear to me..
I saw the thread that davidgxp did, and it's a nice write up. I'm just pretty unclear when he gets to the VLOM. If you don't want to have DOD functional, you can just pull the connector out... But where is the hole that needs to be welded?
Basically if you don't want DOD, do you just ditch this whole thing and weld the hole it comes out of, and grind flush?
For the DoD I just smoothed the stock wires down and used gasket maker lol. And JB weld

First picture is a stock VLOM with the opsu re-welded at a 30 degree angle. The second picture is what kind of VLOM, and what exactly did you weld? Did you cut the opsu off and weld the hole?
Here is the stock VLOM. The red circle is the opsu that has been cut off and re-welded at a 30 degree angle. If I do not want to use DOD, can I just throw out the connector and pig tail and all that **** circled in yellow, and weld that hole closed and grind flush???
Yup if u wanted to.

Just leave the DoD solenoids intact on bottom of tray

Another question: I'm going to use the Dorman ls6 intake, ls2 throttle body, with the ls1 to ls2 throttle body adapter. (Along with the ls2 pigtail.) I have a 07, so do you know off hand if I have the 6-pin connector? Was there a year that they made the switch from 8 pin to 6???
