Does anyone know if there is a upgrade for the ENGINE STRUT MOUNT on the Pontiac Grand Prix, I have a 2001 GTP and nearly every year for the last five I have had to replace these things. The rubber breaks and then the engine rocks back and forth causing damage to the exhaust and possibly other parts under the hood. I don't know if this topic has been covered in another thread yet, but I am real tired of replacing these parts, this is a crap design.
You can get solid poly mounts from intense or ZZP or find a used set from someone (I would recommend intense) they have the square ones as well as the round ones for whichever you need. Also for future reference I would start your own thread or ask in the chatbox so you're not threadjacking someones post.
http://intense-racing.com/PROD/3800-PRO-UMMP-xxx.html this includes both the square and round ones but you can get just the square ones also if you browser their website
Bought a set of 60# injectors today! Oil lines are all that are needed and the kit will basically be complete.
thatta girl, but still a ***** for no IC blah blah excuse for reason not to
So.... I bought a wastegate off eBay about two weeks ago. I waited about a week for it to get here, but it never came. So I messaged the seller (who has 100% positive feedback) and he has still not gotten back with me. So hopefully I can get my money back, otherwise I'm out $125. It was used, that's why the price was low. But yeah, so now I have to wait until this is all figured before I go buying another wg and blah blah blah.
On another note, my car seems to be getting a lot of kr again.
File a claim, you will get a refund from ebay unless they have a tracking number and it says "delivered".
Ordered my oil lines today. I still need a couple random things, like a boost controller, titanium wrap, and a turbo blanket. Other than that, I should have it all. I will be running no intercooler at first, but only until I sell my headers and belt wrap. Then that money will be going towards the ic.
Having trans issues. Started shifting rough and then started then got a p1810 code. Can't wait to try and fix that.
the ford life
Probably going to shut the car down in the coming week. I'd like to knock everything out at once, so I want to try and fix the trans, install the turbo kit, replace the struts, and do motor mounts all in the same period of time. I guess we'll see
Party at John's
