lowered, 5 lug swapped, new wheels, too.
but yeah, this is basically a spam thread.

if you got points, its still a moving violation. unless your points system is more f ed up then NJ's.
here they let you pay double the fine for no points, only if you have a clean lic tho.
points are just against your drivers license. if i get 12 in a year it gets suspended. i'm not sure how anyone could pull that off. them changing it to a non-moving violation just means it won't affect my insurance.
i had no cares about paying the $136 fine. i paid it on my way out and left happy, hah.

that 70 formula 400 firebird i had growing up, well i got 18 points in oh less then a year. they take your lic at 12, but i had racked up a few more tickets during the last month notice they send you telling you about your suspension.
all pretty much careless driving tickets @ 2 points a pop. (whole lotta them) and 2 improper passing tickets @ 4 points each.
ive earned and lost about 46 points in all to date. currently point free for the last 15 years now. my full driving history abstract is f ed up for sure.
if it weren't for ticket reductions i'd have a lot more on my record than i do now.
however, cops know what the tickets they reduce to so if you have 5 defective speedo tickets they know you were speeding a whole bunch.
Looking good man. I wouldn't mind picking up a V wagon in a few years If I can find one. If they'd give us an ATS-V wagon I'd be all over it but I don't see that happening.
i'm running low on vacation time this year. next year would be a better bet if we tried to organize something in advance.
and by then i should have the car "ready" for actually showing it to people.
i just got done replacing my driveshaft with the updated poly carrier bearing unit. i sent my stock one back as i stole a core from their inventory for a few weeks.
so far so good on the poly carrier unit. it's only been a handful of days, but the clunking when pushing in the clutch pedal is greatly diminished since the stock carrier bearing isn't flopping around anymore. now it's just the stock dual mass flywheel that's banging around. i also haven't heard any squealing like the old one did and those two big ticket items combined are a huge weight off my shoulders as far as me being in love with this car. it just feels tighter and more refined. you know, how it should have been from the factory.
sometime in the next bunch of weeks i'm probably going to get all my new LED bulbs and new fog lights installed and then minus wheels the car should be visually really close to being done. i've got some suspension goodies for the rear end that need to go in (trailing arms, lateral arms), but they're honestly not needed at this point in time and i am going to do them at the same time i do the cradle bushings which might get pushed off until spring so i can get my finances in order again.
i'm really leaning towards shorter tires in the front which will require me spinning down the coils a little more to make up for the change.
currently it rubs the entire way around the inner fender and i keep rubbing clips off. tapped holes, allen bolts, and fender washers will fix that, though.
