Thread: High idling on a 01 grand prix se.

The car runs fine except when it is idling . It idles too high at times. It is bothersome because it seems like a runaway car. I noticed that if I turn off the air conditioner it seems to help and the high idling comes down a bit. I wonder if anybody has had or has this same problem. The car has 190k miles on it. Any advice will be appreciated.
