    Hello all,
Just picked this up. 2006 Grand Prix GT supercharged. It came down to this and a 2004 ss impala, but once i saw this and drove it my mind was made. It just hit 89k miles. Has brand new tires and is RUST FREE! I'll be picking it up tuesday once i get out of work, and will probably take more pictures then. Immediate plans are to change supercharger oil and service the transmission. Then eventually a homemade CAI for some whine, then a gauge pod+gauges. Engine bay needs a good cleaning and ill probably be doing something with the exhaust and lowering it a bit. I'll probably be redoing some of the tint too. Hope you enjoy!

Buy servicing the trans I hope you don't mean a flush because well your tranny can go shortly after that. Just do a pan drop, change the filter and add a shift kit if you choose then filll her up.

At 89K he would have no issues flushing the trans. Where are you getting your info? If he was well over a 100K I could see it being a bad idea.

If its never been serviced before he could easily kill the trans with a flush.

Unless he has had the car since very low mileage...a trans flush could be a bad idea clutch material could be holding jt together.Yea I'm sure there's a chance it'll be fine but without knowing how the previous owner has driven the car it's rolling the dice. I'm sure OP won't exactly be thrilled to have to service the trans so soon...

I must have been one of the lucky ones who has flushed multiple transmissions with mileage ranging from 75K-150K and not have any issues out of transmissions after flushing.

knock on wood I flushed mine at 93k and im fine at 103k. I wasn't thinking nor did my research.

Nice car tho! Tan cloth? guessing cuz only the leather interior had the plastic tray thing on the back of the passenger seat

Old worn clutch material could be holding the tranny together still. When you flush it your flushing that out as well so you may or may not have trans problems after that. A Pan drop is safer and cheaper and is essential just replacing some of the fluid with new fluid.
