I Now Have 322,000 Miles On My Red Baby!
Since First Posting I Have Replaced The Battery, And Replaced Both front wheel hubs Again!
I Am Not Getting More Than About 15,000 Miles Out Of Them When Then The Bearings Keep Failing. Anyone Else Have Or Had This Happen To Them?
Is This Common On These Pontiacs, Or My Bad Luck?
I Know I Have Had Bad Luck Lately, About One Week Ago On My Way Home From Work At Night I Locked My Tires Up To Avoid Hitting Five Elk In A Corner Now I Had To Replace My Tires. The Tires Had Two Separate Flat Spots About Six Inches Long. Talk about An Annoying Thumping And Vibration On The Highway.
I Still Have Not Got My ABS Working Yet.
I Recently Built And Installed A DIY Intake, Painted And Cleaned Up Under The Hood
Anyway A Couple Pic Updates To Share

How many of those miles have you had it for? What all maintenance have you been doing to keep her going? I hope mine lasts this long, keep up the good work!

On the wheel bearings, are you following the torque specs on everything? They are very important on wheel bearings and can cause premature failure.

When I bought it it had 200,000 miles. Changed oils and filters regularly, replaced steering rack, brake rotors and shoes, both cv-shafts, front struts, lower motor mount, and replaced several interior parts that were either missing or broken.
When i change the bearings i cleaned everything well and torqued everything to specs.

What hubs have you been using? Also, what about your suspension? Engine/tranny mounts?

Having spots burnt into your rubber... Wow... How fast we're you going? Lucky you though, would rather have to replace tires than teeth or a car

322k is wild... Keep it going!

Wow, I've locked them up going faster than that and never got a flat spot...I did have a brown spot on my driver seat though.
