    That's good. I wouldn't beat on it gp much with the original transmission. U watched ur tranny temp much?

    I do.. so far so good.. I live if FL and so far it stays in the 180 to 190 range even on hot days in the 90's in stop and go. It did get to 208 once with no ill effects.

    I have thought about getting a tranny cooler based on what I see in the forums. But I figure if the tranny goes I'll get it done then. ( Fingers crossed )

    How hot do they normally get to? I started freaking out when I saw 208 because I know they tend to run hot. I thought that was high. But that was more than a year ago. Just had the tranny sucked a month ago. I have been planning for a rebuild before 150k based on what I read in here.

    most get to 220 easily and often. before i installed my current tranny cooler bypass id hit 210+ alot. I had an inline transmission cooler then went to a complete radiator bypass

    Wow!!! No. Never seen that. Here in Florida.. been in the 90's most everyday for the last month and I haven't broken 200. Thanks Dirt. You're making me feel pretty good right about now!!
