new ignition is on. had to make a little bracket to mount the new coil pack nicely.

with the new electronic ignition and timing advance controller it started on the second kick on one cylinder. plugged in the spark plug wire like i was supposed to and it started up immediately. idles like a champ, revs nice and smooth, and rides great now. i'm not so afraid of taking it places anymore and not being able to start it because the timing being stuck on full advance. yaaaahhhh.

now i just need to borrow my pops' timing light and get it timed (~10 minute job) and it'll be golden.

the seat also has two brackets on it because the mounts for the old seat were in different places. i lot of this bike is 'making stuff', haha.

left it at home. needed to grab a timing light before i take it out anywhere serious. i don't want to burn up anything running too little/much timing because i didn't time it.

I would still report it to the police, **** it. At least it will get a warrant for him, so next time he is minding his own business and his car gets pulled over on a nice Sunday afternoon, he is being put in Cuffs and then has to serve his warrant. Can ruin the **** out of someones day...oh and tell them the appraisal value is over $1,200, that way its a Felony.

Yea... so back to the current bike, 2 questions.

Down on the frame under the seat, I spy some sort of can...

    1) Blue Ribbon Beer?

    2) What is it for? and don't say drinking lol

I like the bike a lot. Are you going to do anything under the seat in the big gap?

it's an old school PBR can. it's where the key cylinder is.
