Comes with the territory. I'll be more careful next time.

Ha yup! Took the front cover off and cleaned the heck out of it. Replaced every gasket except that back cover and rear main. They weren't showing signs of leaking and seemed OK so I left them alone.
More pictures of the destruction....
The broken skirt on the opposite side of the chip.
See all of the scoring on the cylinder walls on the left compared to the smooth on the right?
The rod journal looks to be intact. The rod bearings didn't spin.
I just want this ufcking nightmare to be over. I've seriously had it. It has been to ufcking long ufcking months. I finally hit the weekend where I could be driving this god damned car TONIGHT. if only my front exhaust header didnt bump against my head studs. Seriously? The rear went right on so what the ****ing ufck! They're even the same heads from my top swap. Ugh....
End ufcking rant

Well I drove around maybe 30mins.
There's a stumbling like with my last setup in right at the transition into boost. Can hear popping from the exhaust, hesitation...but 0kr on the scan.
Almost seems like it happens more on a gear change. Maybe torque management pulling something and the engine doesn't like it.
That's what destroyed the last engine so I'll be hunting this ghost down.

Apparent oil starvation issue from the L26. This is from #6 rod journal I believe. I loosened all of the rod caps and rotated thr crank around pulling pistons and found this bearing spun half way around but the tangs aren't shaved off.
Either way...no budget for machining. Closer and closer to giving up on her.
