Some good news, some bad.....good news is the engine no longer leaks coolant once I changed the rear main seal cover gasket to the correct one, mocked up a 04+ lower air dam to help with cooling the vehicle also since it is designed to channel air to the wheel/brake area. Getting the SLP hood, MPD F1 spoiler and a new GM front bumper cover painted next week to match the yellow on the car by our body shop all for $300 including paint & materials.
Bad news is the ZZP aluminum radiator over flow tube pipe is too small and the factory hose that attaches to it was very loose, So I decided to try and un-screw it but all I did was snap it odd flush at the filler neck. Had to remove the ICM bracket to be able to drill it out and tap it for the correct size, ordered up a new aluminum fitting from Summit Racing and should be in by Monday. Ordered all new Dorman extended length lug nuts from a GXP since mine are too short part # 611-286 to cover the ARP studs. Still waiting to send out PCM but have to wait till pay day next week.
Things left to do for this weekend is install new rear hub bearings with ARP studs installed, drop the gas tank, drain old fuel and install new feed and return pipes from sending unit to filter, install EVAP solenoid to make it functional with the N* throttle body, rout a functional PCV pipe from back of GEN 5 supercharger so it functions properly and bolt up the FWI.
Once the PCM is done and engine is running then I can align the car and start tuning it from there, hope to try and get out to a local track for some shake down tests, get some miles on it to pass all the IM rediness codes, get it state inspected and get a current registration and plates and for those wondering why....I'm keeping it street legal so I can drive it around town cause i love the oddball looks I get when i pass people by.
