You won't that
And in hope you aimed the headlights from 25ft away. They look to be aimed quite high.

Damn, ik man, idk why I put it so high. When I go to aim the minis im going to check the height. If its under 3 feet its strait, Just supposed to be under the side mirrors.
I hope it is because if not im gonna probably have to go and dremel the piss out of them and remount them. As much as I dont want to, but id rather do it now than later.
I got the apollo 3.0's..I like them a lot with the angel eyes behind it. The apollo 1.0 is tits too.
Well hopefully my patience with this whole project will start paying off. I went and aimed the fxr's again tonight. Took my sweet old time and got them very nice. Just got finished filling the backs in with jb weld.
I managed to find a better spot to aim them with flat ground, exactly 25 feet away and measure the distance between the projectors to get them on the cut offs. I also set up a piece of wood I can drive up to and aim the minis, as well left the tape on the wall lol.
For starters, here is what I cut behind to make the projectors while hooked up with the bulbs and ballasts. I cut the bottom more and into a square for this reason. After I aimed the first time and set the projectors, I couldn't pull the headlights out because with the bulb connected and the d2 ballasts, it popped the mounted projector right out and messed it all up n wasted jb weld. So now I have room to play with, and the d2 set ups are a lot different than the amp set ups. Also, you want to keep the bottom circle for the headlight to hold from bouncing, unless we could cut that whole section out. But that is what drunkie always regretted and recommends to keep that!
Side view from the fender facing in..this is what's a pain to cut, I'm sure it'd be easier if you take the black front piece off to get to it but I didn't. I unscrewed 2 screws so I could move the black piece a little, stuck my dremel with cutting wheels n went to town. This is double walled steel crap too and expect to go thru some wheels. Also, small pliers to roll n bend and straight screwdriver even. Takes some time but you want to be able to hook the projector, bulb, n ballast up and wiggle n play to make sure you have enough clearing to adjust the projector whichever way.
From up top facing down.
Mmhmm, about time Kory.
Tapes still up and this big ol piece of wood I found for coming back n just driving n lining up the cut offs
I liked this one
Thanks man, it looks a lot better this time around
Told ya can't go wrong with 25 ft the perfect beam in what you want not that crocked crap. Now do mine for me k thanks
Yup once im done with these, ill be able to lol
I forgot to ask, i dont know if you have the plugs for your morimoto's for the harness like i do, but if you do, when you threw your headlights in the oven would/did it affect the plastic on the plug? Thanks bro and looks good

Haha you onow thats coming soon. This yours bro?
Yessir no problem. I got some of them rgb leds. But theyre 4 pins and id need a controller and 4 wires running n solder n all that. So I doubt im gonna use them. Its a lot more complex than just wiring them up lol
