i dunno. i think the whole car would look better with some wider 18's on there. i'm not a fan of the stickers but if it had better wheels i don't think they would look so outta place. it just doesn't seem themed, really. just a bunch of things thrown on there. but from the pics it looks like you did a good job putting them on.
i think my wife's silhouette woulda beat you on a couple of those runs
i've never been to the strip but i just get the car moving then mash it. figure that is better than spinning the wheels. you have more mods than me though so spinning is easier for you maybe. but it will still scratch when wot even if they are already moving. maybe you need wider tires?
245s seem to be better for traction on my car than the 225. they are 18's though. maybe they are just better tires (quite used, though). they for sure look better. your car would look so much better with 245 45 18's on it. it won't change the outside diameter. it will sit better and just look a lot better. keep em black. lower the front a bit.
how did that happen? I've heard bad things about anything but the stock gasket so I just left the stock one in mine.
previous owners lack of knowledge.
i did replace the front main seal, but it only was a bandaid for the leak.
now im replacing the entire timing cover gasket and front main seal again.
i replaced my oil pressure sensor that was leaking and oil filter housing gasket.
im replacing with Felpro gaskets "improved design" timing cover is metal coated in some kind of rubber.
eff changing a timing cover gasket again... i wouldnt wish this on any GP owner... one crappy job. you gotta take everything off, clean everything and reinstall stuff just right so nother leaks.
luckily im LEGIT and put it all back together right the first time, with no leaks.
i officially am oil leak free on the timing cover side of the engine.
I see you work in flip flops, so do I. Glad you got the leaks fixed.
Flip Flops for Vehicle maintenance, it must be a Texan thing. During the months of May-September, I only wear flip flops and shorts while working on the GP
I just got in from workingon the comp g. Flip flops and shorts. Sweated through all of it.
was your front main seal leaking ? the reason why i ask is becasue i recently rebult my motor and got it running a couple days ago and there is oil all over my belts and on the bottom side of my hood... i thought it was power steering fluid at first but then i checked my oil and noticed that it wasslowily dropping. im hoping its just my front seal, and not my timing cover
sounds like your front seal. wont know until you take your tire off and harmonic balancer off.
when my seal leaked, it sprayed all over my belts and all over front side of the engine
just a update, picking up stage 2 performance rebuild kit from Triple Edge Performance, 300m input shaft, precision 245mm 2500 stall converter, and 7/8" single chain conversion.
going to install boost activated devils own meth injection, if i can find a deal, gen v on a 3.0" and tuned at a shop of my preference.
also deleting AC for some minor weight savings, with aluminum subframe.
ripping out interior and restoring, going black and charcoal colors.
by this time next year i plan on having a 12s GP
decided to scrap meth and go with E85. price of 65# injectors are cheaper than the meth kit.
gonna go as low as a 2.8" if it is knock free. gonna start on a 3.0"
