Damn, everyone scoring good stuffs. Nice
Got a few lights in the mail today. Still waiting on all the overhead interior lights to come in.
Also got some LED back-up lights. Made a huge difference in actually being able to see where I'm backing up.
Nice ride man, I really like it!i like the gold rims because its different n still looks good, but the black look good too, just more people have it that way. You went balls deep into this one I see haha. Nice pictures too that's a good spot. I'm interested in seeing more, keep it up
this car makes me want to paint my car white..
Few more pics I posted today. I'm gonna try and find a decent spot to take some more tomorrow.
Very nice.
Ty sir.
Sill need to take care of the engine bay. Not filthy, but I need to super degrease it, paint the front VC, and detail it.
Also, while I'm happy with my amount of low (I jussssssssttttttt clear most parking lot concrete curb stop dont go anything farther things) I still want to go a little lower. I'd like to drop the front about 1/2" to give it a slight rake.
Now the car needs and updated To Do list.
F1 Hood
SLP Gen 2 Spoiler
Tint the headlights (really want to retrofit, but don't want to spend monies)
GTX tips
F-body or Vette front brakes
Moar fast.
Cant wait to see that HUD pod installed!
Wat? No SD Lip?
Yo Machine, I noticed in the car today thread you did the ride up with the Meguiar combo. It looks great.
My question is what did you think of the Ultimate Wax? The last time I did my car I did the same exact steps with said products.
I just have some mixed/ confused conclusions about the wax. The compound and polish are great.
The wax was somewhat different. It seemed to give me a hard time buffing it out, like it would smear and greasy swirl instead of coming off. No matter what I used to remove it a terry or microfiber had the same effect. I believe after initially removing the product after hazing, I let it sit for a couple hours and hit it again which seemed to be the way? The only thing I did different than my usual waxing phase was I did it in the garage and not in the sun(black car)
My first impression of it would be MEH for a LSP. I ended up going over the hood with some Mothers Synwax and Mothers Reflections top coat which right away gave me that hard shell I was looking for. So far my favorite is Mothers California Gold Pure Carnauba Wax followed by Turtlewax Ice liquid polish.
I guess I'm still on the quest for the ultimate wax
Gotta tell ya I like that ride of yours and if it was issued as a Hot-Wheel I would own it!!
^ XD love that last bit
I love the Wax (sealant really) I've been using the paste Ultimate Wax for a few months now by hand, and switched over to the liquid. It works awesome, and holds up really damn well. I did notice the liquid doesn't go on quite as smooth as the paste, but as far as buffing off, it came off way easier. Im guessing you probably applied it too thick and even though the surface was caked, there was still some that wasn't underneath that smeared.
HUD pod is installed, but the Wideband fried, and is currently in RMA status with AEM (awesome customer service btw)
I do have an SD lip actually. It's sitting in storage atm. I basically don't want to have to deal with repairing the damage (decent split on one side) and refinishing it/painting and buffing it out to match. (Im in class 50+ hours a week, and weekend are usually spent catching up on sleep and homework) I graduate in June, so I will probably do the lip then.
i do like-a dat list.
its a good to do list.
Slowly I'm fooling you all into thinking Grand Prix's look good.
