Question is.... should I debadge? Im leaning towards yes since it could look cleaner.
Looks real good.
So today I gutted the whole interior , just getting it ready for the car audio installation here is the list of what will go in it
-Pioneer GM-D8604 600W RMS Class FD 4-Channel GM Digital Series Amplifier
-Rockford Fosgate T500-1dbCP
-Rockford Fosgate P3-1X10 10" sub
-Pioneer DEHX9500BHS CD Receiver Bluetooth iPod USB
-Kicker 11KS5.2 5-1/4" 2-way Component Car Speakers
-Kicker 11KS69 6"x9" 2-way KS Series Coaxial Car Speakers
and the Viper 5704V alarm with remote start
I also got my GMPP handling kit in the mail from GMPARTSDIRECT, Fbody brakes need to go in and NEW carpet
Am I assuming the dash is fubar in that car?
I took out all the interior components , including the dash . I dont want the installation guys screwing up and breaking any tabs
Car went to the car audio shop this morning, I meanwhile trimmed the new carpet to install once car gets home
So what exactly is the shop installing for you? Hope if anything they're just doing the alarm the rest you can tackle..hell you could do the alarm yourself as well if you wanted to.
looks damn good!! Not a fan of the AVS window visor though.. just looks weird to me on your car. And i say debadge and maybe throw a GTP badge on the back
I have actually gone back and forth on uninstalling the visors but it helps in the highway and keeping the window a bit down especially in AZ when its so freaking hot. I still need to install reflective concept decals and yes I will debadge and maybe install the "l67" badge in the back
Ok so here are some recent pics with the reflective concept decals on filler plate and bumper , the question now is should I fix the tips(stick out a bit) or should I leave them. I see some GP's with tips under the bumper opening that makes the car look "clean" , other than that I decided to keep modding it so I should be posting cam, gen V and other stuff later on.........
I YES the car was lowered with DNA springs , am I satisfied ..NO but ooh well still better than stock
Great pictures, I can tell the front springs have settled, but the rears are still a tad high. As for the tips they look fine although the left side seems to be hanging lower than the right. Use a radiator hose style band clamp to fine tune the height on the rubber hanger.
