Oh that sucks..well i'm sure you'll get her done. I just found your thread..wow absolutely amazing!! You give me inspiration. I been thinking on doing a L67 swap on my 00 Intrigue, but this sounds even better!!

    Thanks!

Intrigue is fixed. Right now I'm at 19 degrees of timing and zero knock. Still going to tune for more timing and idle/highway driving. She pulls nice now!

When you tune for SC'd builds, do you try to stay around 18 degrees at WOT?

I've driven it. And no..I didn't take any vids.

At first the car was a big pile of dust from being in the garage for so long. There have been a few minor setbacks that were overcome. Call them learning experiences, some were what does and doesn't work on a slightly different W body etc.

At this point, Max is daily driving this winter beater (yes the Intrigue) and refining things as he goes.
    Band is fixed
Radiator has been swapped (Intrigue fans are different than GP fans BTW)

Currently, Max is living in the car tweaking the tune ever so slightly each day. Pretty sure once spring thaw happens we'll see more stuff from him. He's the kinda guy that won't take pictures when the car is dirty etc. One change that did happen (thank God!) is those nice dogbones have been replaced with new stockers to mitigate the vibrations going through the car.

Then FWIW everyone should PM Max a list of parts that you need, as he has a ton of spares, extras etc that he needs to sell.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

If you have a small pulley and 93 octane in the tank, then yes 16-18 is where I hang... The extra 4hp is not worth the stress you are putting on the head gaskets.

Biggest thing you want to do in a cam setup is save your timing for the 6000+ rpm area... run 15 at 4000, march it slowly up to 17 by 6000 then spike in 19 or so at the end. You can run more on race gas.. but its still only a small gain... you probably wont ever use the extra timing racing the local kids in town.

Max is living in the car tweaking the tune ever so slightly each day
Why? What is it not doing correctly?

    DH, IDK...

Dave, He had full poly everything. The cloth seats were providing such a great massage and it was loud as hell. Swapped and it's much quieter, no crazy vibration.

Ok because the round poly bushings cause the same vibration
