    Not sure if i wanna invest 500-700 dollars in it for a 3.4 setup and keep it for many years, or keep it how it is and keep it for just a bit and sell it.

    I say spend the 500-700 go for a 3.4 setup and see how you feel about it then. Once the beast is let loose you kinda fall in love all over again.
