Don't own them, however: No boots for struts, no bump stops, no "good" strut options unless you do it all yourself, adjusters/sleeves can become damaged from a build up of road salt if not cleaned regularly, some recently are complaining about the spring rate, top mounts aren't camber plates.

Quite a bit was overlooked for 1500.

But quality struts: 1000, revalving struts: 300, 2-3 hours of shop time at 65 an hour to shorten: 130-195, camber plates: 600+, springs/sleeves etc: 500-1000.

Running total? 2530-3095. Thats to "do it right". Might as well go air at that price point if you're all about going low.

And they'd still be non adjustable, however they'd be valved properly for your spring rate, expected use and corner weights.

Well like I said earlier in the thread I did want some functionality aswell as low. But yea I bought these along time ago before many people had written about them and didn't have anything to go by. And they are really the only coilovers that come per assembled for the w-body

pretty much all of what Matt5112 said is what I had a problem with. I thought the spring rates were especially troublesome. The default rates are so soft that when I lowered it about 2 inches i was bottoming out everywhere and the room left for adjustment just kinda had me wondering why 325/275 is default. And I was talking about it in my thread a little bit, but using stock length struts that just lose travel when adjusted down didn't seem too great.

I got them off 1010tire.ca (a Canadian website) so I didn't have to pay shipping charges there was a deal on them when I got them but I think you can grab a set for under 2k
